Who is Theravilo for?
Independent counsellors and psychotherapists working in the UK, mostly on their own. It is not designed as a system for large clinics with reception teams. We may look at Europe and the USA later, once UK practice is well served.
Can I use Theravilo with my clients now?
Not yet. Theravilo is an early preview and is not on sale. The demo is for exploring with fictional data only. Please do not enter real client names, contact details or notes.
Where is the demo data stored?
In your own browser's local storage, on your device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or using Reset demo, removes it. Browser storage is not a suitable place for real clinical records, which is one reason the demo is fictional-only.
How will real client data be protected?
Before any real data is accepted, Theravilo needs secure sign-in with two-step verification, a separate protected space for each therapist, encryption, tested backups, an audit trail, and clear export and deletion. These will be independently reviewed. Hosting location and providers have not been chosen yet. We do not claim any certification or regulatory compliance at this stage.
What is the difference between a clinical note and a reflection?
A clinical note is part of a client's record and is always linked to that client. A professional reflection is your own thinking, for example to take to supervision. Theravilo stores and lists them separately, and a reflection does not need to be linked to a client at all.
Will Theravilo use AI?
Optional AI help with drafting after-session notes is planned, not built. When it arrives, a draft will never be added to a record until you have reviewed and approved it, your original words and every change will be kept, and it will not suggest diagnoses. It will start with text you write after a session. Theravilo will not record sessions or send bots into your video calls automatically.
Does it work with Zoom, Google Meet or Xero?
Not yet. In the demo you can label a session as Zoom or Google Meet, but no links or connections are created. Xero is planned. Integrations will only ever be shown as connected when they genuinely are.
Can clients book or pay online?
No. Theravilo does not take payments from clients, and online booking is not available. The invoices in the demo are for tracking only.
Will it help with tax or Making Tax Digital?
The demo includes invoices, expenses and a monthly summary of money received and spent. Tax estimates and Making Tax Digital support are planned only once the requirements have been checked with qualified advisers. Theravilo is not ready for HMRC submissions.
How much will it cost?
The plans on the pricing page are provisional ideas, not offers. Nothing can be bought yet and no payment is taken.
